Northside Park
Northside Park is located at the northern end of the city, about two miles south of the Chesapeake Bay, at 8445 Tidewater Drive. Here you will find a year-round indoor pool with sun patio, two lighted softball diamonds, a playground, picnic shelters, walking paths, outdoor basketball court, seven tennis courts, a wading pool, and ongoing aquatic programs and classes. Northside is also the site of the Imagination Island playground, the largest community-built playground in the state.
From I-64 in Norfolk, VA, take the Tidewater Drive North exit (Exit 277B). Proceed north through first underpass until you see Pollard's Chicken and McDonald's on the right; the park entrance in on your LEFT.
If you're already at CHCC, exit the church parking lot on Marvin Ave. and turn right. Drive west on Marvin towards Tidewater Drive; the park entrance is directly across Tidewater from Marvin Ave.
